Schoolcraft Little League partners with Schoolcraft Township to maintain the baseball and softball fields during the LL season.  All other areas around Swan Park are maintained by Schoolcraft Township. 

Routine Facility Maintenance Tasks:
-dragging infields (aggregate areas) with rider equipment after practices/games 
-adding/leveling stone dust (when needed)
-hanging/removal of banners, facility signage, backstop screens (at beginning and end of season)
-edging fields (separation between grass and aggregate) at beginning of season
-scoreboard maintenance (replacing lighting panels when needed)
-mowing/trimming
-grass seeding/bare spot maintenance (early Spring or late Fall)
-weed control applications

We have some of the most beautiful and well-maintained ball fields in Southwest Michigan however it takes volunteers to keep them well maintained and beautiful.  Regardless of your schedule (we're all busy), it's always good to reach out and see where you can chip in to help keep these fields beautiful for our players and community.  To know more, reach out to league leadership here, Leadership Contact Info.
